What will I have to do?

Please make sure the kitchen has some free space to work and that there is space in the fridge for your meals once they are prepped.

Are groceries included in the package price?

Accepted Answer

Groceries are not included in the price package. They will be added to your bill at the end. The chef will purchase all the groceries necessary for your meals at any of your preferred shops or markets. We will also discuss a budget for your groceries before we go shopping. We will be in touch to check if you already have some of the ingredients so we don't double up on paprika or flour.

Question 3

What time will the chef arrive and should I be home?

We will arrange a time that suits you for the chef to arrive. We require someone to let us in and shown the kitchen, especially if it is the first time and there are specific instructions about the hob or oven, but other than that you can leave them to it. Most people enjoy letting our chef into the kitchen in the morning and coming home to a fridge full of freshly made food!

How long will the chef be in my kitchen?

The meal prep will usually last about four hours, occasionally more. Please let us know if you have any time constraints that we need to work around.

How will my meals be stored

Accepted Answer

All the meals will be stored in the fridge in airtight containers and labelled with the meal name and date it was made.

Question 6

Do I have to supply my own containers?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to. However, we do bring some microwave and freezer safe containers to use. After you've eaten the meals, please have them washed so we can reuse them again next time we come over for some meal prep. If you want to continue the service the best option is glass containers with plastic lids that are suitable for the oven and will last a long time.

Question 7

Will I have to do the dishes?

Absolutely not! The chef will take care of all the dishes, wipe the counters, sweep the floors, and take the rubbish out. The aim is to leave the kitchen cleaner than we find it.
